Sept 1, 2010 A few months ago I took a stand on God's word. If the Son has set me free - I am free indeed. At that point I quit drinking and smoking pot. Following soon after that I got rid of the sexy dresses, hose and heels, and kinky clothes. On the morning of August 29th, before church I decided to quit taking hormones. I'm sure there is more on the way, and all the glory goes to God. If you are reading this, you should know that God can set you free from any addiction you may have, marijuana or anything. If you haven't been born again- if you haven't had that radical epiphany of your sin nature and your need of Jesus' blood that washes whiter than snow, you should know that Jesus said, you must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus described the church age in the Kingdom of Heaven parables of Matthew 13. That Kingdom isn't some forthcoming millennium. The Kingdom of Heaven in this dispensation is the body of true believers, the true church of born again and spirit filled christians. It can be hard to tell by looking, but when you examine the fruit of their lives you can tell. Are they living in the truth and light? Or are their lives full of secrets they wish not exposed? Are they gentle, generous and kind? Are they ready to admit to sin when they have made mistakes? Do they love the word of God even when it chastens? If the answer is no, then they likely are christians in name only and not born again. You must be born again. Turn to God with your whole being, head, heart, soul and spirit, all your strength and ask him into your life now, in Jesus' name, Amen. A Man has a Dream A man has a dream where he is boy again. He is scared because someone bigger than he is intimidating him. Suddenly, the boy is a man, as he knows himself to be in the present, and facing him is a large and mean looking bull. The man runs. The bull gives relentless chase. The man is no longer in the open and the bull closes in. The man has his back to a wall and the bull's horns strike the wall by his right and left shoulder. The man and the bull are face to face. The man can see the details of the bulls face. It is an hairy and angry and ignorant beast. The man is frightened. He ducks down and makes a run for it but again the bull gives chase. The man's fear mounts. The man again and again finds himself up against a wall with the bull's horns on his left and right. The man keeps ducking down and running away, his fear mounting, only to find himself face to face with the bull again. Then finally just before the man wakes from the terrible dream he sees the bull's face, and it is his own face. It is himself. A Woman has a Dream A woman has a dream where she is surrounded by family and friends and acquaintances. She happily chats with this one and that one. She feels happy surrounded by all these familiar faces. Then she tells one an untruth without a thought and continues in her happy chats, but it leaves a silken thread which follows her. Then she tells another untruth, and the silken thread attaches there and follows her. Then she tells another and another. The silken thread becomes like a spider's web that surrounds her. With each untruth she tells the thread lengthens and grows more and more entangling. The woman begins to panic. The woman begins to struggle, but this only causes the web to constrict about her. The woman wakes from her dream feeling panicked from the deadly constriction of the web.
